Riverside Cafe: A Southern American Gem in Medicine Park

The spot to hit after a good hike at the Wichita mountains. Always hits great atmosphere right on the river recommend a window seat. Always get the bison burger also highly recommend the cowboy nuggets as an appetizer

It was great. Live music, excellent water view. Cute and cozy. Friendly waitress. Delicious fried green beans, amazingly perfect catfish meal. Adorable and affordable gift section. Food is cheap too. Yea we will be back

We have been to this restaurant many times and every aspect of this establishment is perfect. The atmosphere involves an incredible view of turtles and other wildlife in the river. The service is the best in the business. The servers are both fast and friendly. The food absolutely never disappoints. Every sandwich that I have tried here has been amazing. I love the Bama Bird Chicken Sandwich and I would induct it into the Chicken Sandwich Hall of Fame if the opportunity ever presented itself. The Brunch Burger is another one of my go-to favorites. Go back multiple times and try everything on the menu! You won’t regret it!

Riverside Cafe is one of those "gems". This is a wonderful spot to grab a bite, and I frequent the place when I check out Medicine Park and explore the wildlife refuge. The Food - I had the Jalepeño Popper Burger and Fries and it was amazing. The meat is all locally sourced from a nearby farm and just tastes great. The Service - Staff here excels at service. I was waited on by a lady named Brittany, she was super friendly and handled everything perfectly. The atmosphere - The outdoor seating area is the best spot to be, but was full the last time I came through so I sat inside. Man it is just as cool! They have trees growing through the building where they preserved nature and decided to build around it instead of remove it. It's really cool to see.

Wonderful late lunch! I had the catfish (delicious hushpuppies) and my husband had The Hammy. We both really enjoyed our meals, good sized portions too! The service was also very good.

My daughter took me for Mother's Day while we were in Lawton visiting family after a memorial. Kitchen was slow, but the service was right on. Our glasses of soda and water were never empty. The waitress was super attentive but not disruptive and the view was beautiful over Medicine Creek. Food is good and better than most in Lawton we've had so far. It was a bright and comforting spot on an emotional weekend. Recommend!

The food was much better than expected. The patio was great and our server was very friendly and attentive even though they were busy. We will definitely eat here again next time we come back.

Riverside is a nice spot to grab a quick burger and something to drink! The Menu is very basic, but that’s what makes this place quick and easy! The service was very sweet and views were relaxing Probably better to come in the summer to sit out on the deck, but we still got a good view from the window side.
